The value of Twitter is something I consistently overlook. I have blogs and RSS feeds populating my Twitter accounts, but on the whole it’s generic information that 99.999% of the population will discard as exactly that – generic information, spam, advertising, rubbish.
I am set up using Brizzly so I can access, monitor and update all of my Twitter accounts at once, at the click of a button, but for some reason I don’t seem to allow/justify the time to do so, which is so bad.
A personal Twitter update, a voice behind the post says so much more than the information itself, and I need to pull my finger out, interact and start communicating more.
By pure chance I flicked onto my company Twitter account yesterday and came across someone wanting a freelancer to do some development work. So, I message, we email, I develop a page and 24 hours later, everyone is happy. The beauty of technology.
So, what if I was to check my Twitter on purpose, rather than by chance, and regularly?
